My 7 & 9 year olds absolutely loved creating their Diary of a Dog, and they changed the details to that of a dog we’ve been looking after. This lesson took them a whole morning and they especially enjoyed the variety of skills used, which made this a fun lot of activities which didn’t allow them chance to get bored and held their interest in their projects.
